Description

Constructivism is an artistic and architectural movement that was first influenced by Cubism (Picasso) and Futurism. Constructivism was an art form developed early in the 20th century. It was initiated by abstract geometric paintings of Vladimir Tatlin. Constructivism was part of an avant-garde movement. Before the war in Europe it quickly moved to Germany, France and Britain. With the outbreak of war the art world center shifted to the United States, particularly New York. During the 1950’s New York became established as the modern art capital of the world with Abstract Expressionism as the main focus. Charles Biedermann and Burgoyne Diller were among the first American artists who developed further this movement. Our High Art “Constructivist” short scarf features pure geometrical forms for a very modern lady in you. Also available in light gray.
